Are people born sinners? It seems to me that some are and some aren't.
Some are children of the kingdom;
and some are children of the wicked one.
The children of the kingdom are not born sinners.
Now while this may be
controversal, let me explain the way I see it.
My understanding of Psalm 51.5:
Ps.51.5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin
did my mother conceive me.
David is writing that at his conception and fetal development; not he, but his mother, was in iniquity and sin. It was not David that was in iniquity and sin, but his
mother.
The Lord Jesus testifies of the worthiness of little children in Mark 10.14,15.
Mk.10.13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them; and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased,
and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive
the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therin.
Paul claified this in Ro.7.7-11
Ro.7.7 What
shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covert. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence.
For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once
but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Sin then, comes unto a person, when we are of an age to be accounted under the law; and we then break the commandments.
The Lord God said, in
Genesis 8:21b for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth.
Sin, and the resulting unrighteousness,
seperates people from a righteous God.
Ro.6.23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Chirst our Lord.
All people
are given life by the true Light of God when we are born. This is attested to by John in Jn.1.9.
Jn.1.1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. 2
The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was
John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.
Therefore
are we all enlivened at conception with the true Light of life from God.
Hallelujah!
Thank You heavenly Father.
The
wicked, or the children of the wicked one, (see the teaching of Jesus concerning the wheat and the tares in Mt.13.24-30; 36-43; are estranged from
the womb: they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
Ps.58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they are
born, speaking lies.
When the children of the kingdom come to an age of accountability, in our youth, we come under the law; and when we break the commandments,
we sin, and are cut of from God, and the Light in us goes out, our spiritual nature dies, and we become carnal natural beings, seeing life through sensual devilish wisdom, until we accept the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus,
and are redeemed from sin, and, through the burial of our old self, in baptism, and through the baptism with the Holy Spirit, are resurrected unto newness of life and Light and Spiritual
fellowship with God.
Eph.5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
1Th.5:5a Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
To God be the glory.
Thank
You Lord Jesus.
1John1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin. 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Hallelujah!
Thank You heavenly Father.
Thank You Lord Jesus.
