Rev.7.1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt
not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed:
and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Twelve thousand from each of twelve tribes;(Joseph being two tribes): but none from the tribe of Dan; for Dan had left their inheritance, and set up a graven image, and their own priesthood. (Judges 18).
Rev.7.5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben
were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser
were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses
were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi
were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zebulon
were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin
were sealed twelve thousand.
When did these 144 Thousand go to heaven ?
The Lord, after His death, went, that day, into paradise:
for He had said to the thief on the cross; who had declared Him innocent, and had called upon Him as Lord, and had spoken of His kingdom; "Truely I say unto you, Today
you will be with me in paradise."
The Lord Jesus went, after His death, not
into heaven, but into the lower parts of the earth; and into paradise, and preached to those in Abraham's bosom.
Is.42.6
I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles. 7 To open the blind eyes, to
bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Is.49.9 That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth: to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed
in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. 10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither
shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Is.61.1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has annointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the
opening of the prison to them that are bound;
1Pet.3.18 For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pet.4.6 For this cause was the
gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Mt.27.52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of
the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city (New Jerusalem, in Heaven), and appeared unto many.
Rev.14.1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand,
having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I
heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song
but the hundred and forty and four thousand which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not
defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes.
These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
They have the Father's name written in
their foreheads. (see study on 'God's name forever').
(Most
new age bibles have: His name and His Father's name written on their foreheads).
They are the Old Testament Saints of the children of Israel, resurrected from Paradise, and went with the Lamb into
heaven, and are the servants of God, sealed by the angel with the seal of the living God, name of the Father, in their foreheads (in their minds).
The hundred and forty four thousand sung a new song that no
other men could learn, because they have had a unique experience. What has happened to them, has happened to no others, nor ever will.
They were redeemed from the earth.
They were resurrected after His resurrection, and so, after His crucifiction and the redemption from sin.
They were not defiled with women. They were not born to life this time, but were resurrected.
They
are virgins. There is no marrying nor giving in marriage in heaven.
They follow
the Lamb wherever He goes. He went to heaven about two thousand years ago.
These are they which were in Abraham's bosom.
These are they which were in Paradise;
to which Jesus went on the day of His death.
These are those saints which slept: those
who had the gospel preached to them in the prison house of death.
These are the
firstfruits of the Redeemed.
A remanent of the tribe of Dan will be saved: Romans 11:26a And so
all Israel shall be saved:
Hallelujah!
To God be the Glory.
